Yokota tour enhances US, Japan relations

National Base Relations Council representatives tour a C-130J Super Hercules, belonging to the 36th Airlift Squadron, during a community tour of Yokota Air Base, Japan, Jan. 20, 2023. The National Base Relations Council is comprised of two entities: the National Base Council and the National Council for Defense Facilities and Areas Development. These committees are composed of municipalities near Japan Self-Defense Force facilities and U.S. military bases throughout Japan. The tour served as an opportunity to strengthen U.S.-Japan relations by educating government officials about the important mission at Yokota. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Natalie Doan)
