Yokota participates in JGSDF New Year's Jump 2023
JGSDF soldiers with the 1st Airborne Brigade, U.S. Army Reserve Alaska & 82nd Airborne soldiers and Airmen from the 374th Airlift Wing prepare for the annual New Year’s Jump aboard U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules from the 36th Airlift Squadron out of Yokota Air Base, Japan, Jan. 7, 2024. The joint effort extended beyond borders, with Great Britain, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and India contributing 10-18 jumpers each. Additionally, observers from Thailand and Cambodia added an international flavor to the event.
