Yokota participates in JGSDF New Year's Jump 2023

Paratroopers from the U.S. Army 11th Airborne Division and Japan Ground Self-Defense Forces 1st Airborne Brigade board a U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules from the 36th Airlift Squadron at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Jan. 7, 2024. The multinational forces displayed their tactical airlift capabilities during the annual New Year's Jump in the airspace above JGSDF Camp Narashino, Japan, as part of a public exhibition hosted by the JGSDF 1st Airborne Brigade. With a focus on the Indo-Pacific region, the New Year’s Jump underscored the preparedness of airborne forces for any mission that may arise.
