Invasive species spotted on Yokota

A wood-bored hole created by the invasive red-neck longhorn beetle, is identified on an older cherry tree located on Yokota Air Base. Considered a high-ranking invasive pest, this beetle can hatch up anywhere from 30-1000 eggs per female. (Courtesy photo)
