U.S. Air Force 374th Logistics Readiness Squadron members monitor equipment levels during a bilateral subject matter expert information exchange of the aerial bulk fuel delivery system in the petroleum, oil, and lubricants compound at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Feb. 21, 2025. The ABFDS is a mobile system used to quickly deliver large quantities of fuel to remote or forward operating bases, supporting airlift and mobility operations. It enables rapid fuel distribution to aircraft or ground storage, ensuring sustained operations in areas without traditional refueling infrastructure.
