Mendel Elementary Alumni opens 25-year-old time capsule
A former student from Mendel Elementary School reads a book that was buried inside of a 25-year-old time capsule at Yokota Air Base, Japan, May 2, 2025. The time capsule contained items chosen by students and staff members from the year 2000, such as a cell phone, a floppy disk, toys, pictures, newspapers and school work.
