Japanese mikoshi carriers join Team Yokota volunteers in carrying the 374th Airlift Wing’s official mikoshi during the 76th Annual Fussa Tanabata Festival in Fussa, Japan, Aug. 7, 2026. More than 60 Team Yokota volunteers carried the mikoshi during this year’s festival. Yokota Airmen have participated in the festival since 1958 and have helped carry the mikoshi since 1975.
