YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Yokota receives snowfall during cherry blossom season, April 10. This rare springtime snowfall was caused by a cold air front from the northeast following a low atomospheric pressure system that passed through the southern part of the Japanese archipelago, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency.
