Joint Jump Training at Yokota
Air Force Tech. Sgt. Seth Sarrett, 374th Operations Support Squadron survival, evasion, resistance and escape (SERE) specialist, conducts high altitude, low opening (HALO) parachute jump from a Navy MH-60S Sea Hawk, assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 12, over Yokota Air Base, Japan, Dec. 13, 2021. U.S. Marines and a U.S. Air Force Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) specialist conducted week-long jump training using Air Force and Navy aircraft. The training supports the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command’s dynamic force employment (DFE) concept through agile combat employment (ACE), which supports the National Defense Strategy effort to conduct training with joint partners while maintaining global peace and security.
