A single C-5M landing gear tire can weigh as much as 200 pounds, depending on air pressure, and the aircraft uses 28 of them to support the fuselage. The C-5M is the largest strategic transport aircraft in the Air Force inventory and its primary mission is to transport cargo and personnel for the U.S. Department of Defense.
