YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Members of the Akishima-Yokota Friendship Club toured 374th Mission Support Group facilities at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Nov. 8, to enhance their understanding of the Yokota mission, build upon their strong foundation of friendship, and recognize the importance of the partnership between Yokota and the surrounding communities.
Each of the Yokota Friendship Clubs connects a local city or town to a Yokota host unit. These organizations were established to deepen mutual understanding and promote goodwill between Team Yokota and local citizens through cultural exchange.
The Akishima chapter of the Yokota Friendship Club and its counterpart, the 374th MSG, have partnered in various events together for more than 10 years.
