U.S. Air Force Maj. Hasmin Bolling assumed command of the 374th Force Support Squadron from Lt. Col. Jordan Hayes during a change of command ceremony at Yokota Air Base, Japan, July 26.

Col. Burt Okamoto, 374th Mission Support Group commander, presided over the ceremony and the event was attended by family members of the incoming and outgoing commanders, members of the 374th Force Support Squadron and community members from across and off base.

During his tenure as 374th FSS commander, Hayes’s devoted leadership culminated in a total of 71 awards at the numbered Air Force level and above, including the Pacific Air Forces’ Commander Support Team of 2023, Military and Family Readiness Center of 2023, Fitness and Sports Program of 2022, and the John L. Hennessy Award for food service excellence twice, making Air Force history with a fourth consecutive win.
