YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 374th Medical Group responded to a simulated aeromedical evacuation and mass casualty scenario during exercise Beverly Morning 25-2 at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Mar. 3.
Personnel from the 374th Operational Medical Readiness Squadron, 374th Healthcare Operations Squadron and 374th Medical Support Squadron all synchronized to evacuate simulated casualties from a C-130J Super Hercules assigned to the 36th Airlift Squadron. All injured patients were moved to a secure area for assessment and then prepared for transport for further medical care at Yokota facilities.
Evacuations and MASCAL scenarios are designed to mirror real-world crises, offering Airmen an opportunity to improve emergency response skills while strengthening readiness and discipline.
