374 SFS responds to active shooter, ground attack scenarios during BM 25-2

Defenders assigned to the 374th Security Forces Squadron responded to multiple simulated active shooter and ground attack scenarios during exercise Beverly Morning 25-2 at Yokota Air Base, Japan, March 4.

 

During both scenarios, Defenders were charged with apprehending, securing, and then transporting simulated suspects. Additionally, it was their responsibility to apply Tactical Combat Casualty Care to any simulated casualties on scene. Through training under high-stress conditions, Defenders can identify weaknesses, improve response times and reinforce procedures that are imperative to base safety and security.
