The men and women of the 374th Airlift Wing have earned the 2012 Air Force Outstanding Unit Award for Nov. 2, 2011 through Nov. 1, 2012.

The 374th Force Support Squadron Military Personnel Flight will accomplish a batch awards update for eligible personnel still assigned to the wing.

Personnel who have since had a permanent change of station or permanent change of assignment and are entitled to share in the approved unit award listed should report to their servicing FSS for assistance.

Veterans should report to their local Veterans Administration offices for assistance. Air Force civilian employees should report to their servicing Civilian Personnel Section to have the award documented in the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System, and receive the appropriate lapel pin.

"This award really validates the hard work and professionalism that our team delivers every day here at Yokota," said Col. Mark August, 374th AW commander. "It shows that we possess the drive and skill that our leaders have come to expect from the Best Wing in the Pacific. I congratulate everyone and thank you for your dedication and outstanding performance."
