New Education and Training Center Hours Published Jan. 2, 2013 YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- The Resource Management Decision 703 (RMD 703) was the culmination of a DoD-wide comprehensive effort to increase efficiencies, reduce overhead costs, and eliminate redundant functions in order to improve the effectiveness. The reduction necessitated the need to reduce, reorganize, or eliminate programs no longer sustainable within the Voluntary Education Program. Following in the footsteps of organizations faced with similar reductions, the AF Voluntary Education community has centralized critical transactional functions, integrated automation, and has become more web-centric for many of its services to continue to meet Airmen and mission needs. These changes allow our customers to take care of their educational needs from work, home, or deployments anywhere in the world. In order to effectively and efficiently serve our customers, the Education and Training Section will operate under the following office hours: Monday - Thurs 8 A.M. to 3 PM Tuesday and Thursday by appointment only Friday 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. **Closed for Lunch** 1200-1300 We continue to strive to develop the workforce for current and future assignments through effective and efficient management of our services. We will continue to provide the best services possible as our core functions are adjusted and our mission and roles are redefined.
