YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- The 374th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department hosted the annual Fire Prevention Week Oct. 7 to 13 encouraging Yokota residents to practice fire safety.

The theme of this year's Fire Prevention Week was "have two ways out," reminding people to have more than one escape route planned in case fire blocks one of their exits.

The Fire Department held several events and activities including several school visits, and culminated the week with a Fire Muster Competition.
