The Combined Federal Campaign - Overseas is in full swing, giving federal employees and service members the opportunity to donate to more than 2,500 charitable organizations.

The goal for Yokota Air Base, Japan, is to raise $275,000 for the CFC-O; Individuals can donate now through Nov. 16.

"Each fall, we have the opportunity to extend our service to the Nation and the world by making a contribution to the Department of Defense CFC-O," said Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta, in a letter to contributors.

Each unit has a representative or representatives who will make their way around, offering individuals the opportunity to support the CFC-O.
Whether you are interested in supporting the humane society or providing educational materials for schools, there is something for everyone.

"For those interested in supporting an organization closer to home, there are 38 individual charities that are still providing services and supplies to the people who are suffering following the Great East Japan earthquake and tsunami, March 11, 2011," said Franciela Itule, CFC-O Pacific Campaign coordinator.

During the 2011 campaign, the men and women of Yokota raised more than $256,000 for charities through the CFC-O.
