US servicemember dies while TDY at Yokota

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan --  A U.S. service member died at Yokota Air Base April 26, 2012.

Lt. Cmdr. Eric F. Mang, a Reservist attached to Navy Detachment 105 in North Canton, Ohio, came to Yokota on temporary duty to work with U.S. Forces, Japan.

"We're deeply saddened by this tragic loss of life. Our heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to Commander Mang's family and his coworkers in the Navy and here in Japan," said Col. Bill Knight, 374th Airlift Wing commander.
