It was announced today that the men and women of the 374th Airlift Wing have earned the 2011 Air Force Outstanding Unit Award for Nov. 2, 2009 through Nov. 1, 2011.

A batch update will be accomplished by the Military Personnel Flight for personnel still assigned to an identified organization. Personnel who have since had a Permanent Change of Station or Permanent Change of Assignment and are entitled to share in the approved unit award listed should report to their servicing Force Support Squadron for assistance.

Veterans should report to their local Veterans Administration offices for assistance. Air Force civilian employees should report to their servicing Civilian Personnel Section to have the award documented in the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System, and receive the appropriate lapel pin.

"This award represents the culmination of our Airmens' tireless efforts here at Yokota," said Col. Otto Feather, 374th AW commander. "We should all take a moment to reflect -with pride- on our many distiguished accomplishments that led us to this achievement."
