23 Airmen graduate from ALS
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Chief Master Sgt. Chief Cornell, 374th Maintenance Group superintendent, signs the Airman Leadership School volleyball while sitting in a wheelchair during the ALS Class 11-E graduation ceremony at Yokota Air Base, Japan, July 7, 2011. The Airmen versus chiefs volleyball tournament is a time-honored tradition for Airmen Leadership Schools, as well as "roasting" each team during the graduation. The chiefs won the tournament, two games to one, and were given the honor of signing the volleyball. The wheelchair was presented by the Airmen to the chiefs to assist them in their "old age."
