Yokota Airmen perform decontamination of aircraft, aircrew during BM 25-2

U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 374th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and 374th Operations Support Squadron performed aircraft decontamination procedures during exercise Beverly Morning 25-2 at Yokota Air Base, Japan, March 6, 2025.

This training scenario evaluated Airmen’s ability to respond to a contaminated aircraft from a chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear attack, enhancing their ability to respond in a real-world contingency.

BM 25-2 is a full-scale exercise designed to prepare Airmen for real-world conflicts as they engage in a wide-range of scenarios. Through routine training, personnel at Yokota Air Base remain postured to rapidly respond to any potential real-world crises and maintain its status as the premiere hub for power projection in the Indo-Pacific theater.
