Webinar hosted for Retirees

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- The Air Force Personnel Center will be hosting a webinar entitled "Navigating the VMPF to submit a Retirement Application," on December 10 at 8 a.m.

The webinar will help to acquaint potential retirement applicants with the Virtual Military Personnel Flight secure application.

"The webinar will be hosted on the Defense Connect Online website," said 1st Lt. Kailin Kwan, 374th Force Support Squadron chief of military personnel. "Members can sign on as a guest by entering their name, rank, unit and base."

AFPC has also prepared other retirement-related webinars that will be broadcast on a rotating basis the second Thursday of every month.

"The webinars will be talking about the application process, the benefits and entitlements and retirement pay," said Lieutenant Kwan. "They will also include what to expect once you've been approved for retirement."
