Yokota Friendship Club Luncheon
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Front to back: Col. Frank Eppich, 374th Airlift Wing vice commander, Mr. Akira Tanabe, Ome Yokota Friendship Club chief director, Col. Rafael Quezada, 374th Mission Support Group commander and Mrs. Wakako Tanabe, wife of Mr. Tanabe, visit during a Friendship Club Lunch at the Enlisted Club, Feb. 26. Local Japanese business and political leaders began forming the six community friendship clubs in 1989 as a way to show their appreciation for U.S. forces in Japan and to introduce Japanese culture to Yokota Airmen and their families.
