Secretary of the Air Force Michael Donley visited Airmen here Dec. 23 on his tour of U.S. Air Force bases in the Pacific Command.

While at Yokota, Secretary Donley spoke to Airmen about the future of the Air Force and his focus on issues such as support for military families.

"Medical issues, child development centers, education for spouses, these are the kinds of things we're looking at," he said. "Supporting Airmen's families is not only the right thing to do for Airmen, but it is the smart thing to do for the Air Force."

The Secretary also took time to answer Airmen's questions about topics like deployments in support of joint expeditionary taskings.

"This is one team one fight, so we'll continue to ask for volunteers and contribute where we can to fill in gaps and seams in personnel needs downrange," he said. "This is why we say that our Air Force is 'all in' and there should be no question that we are all committed to success downrange."

Secretary Donley added that he is extremely proud to serve alongside such dedicated and honorable Airmen.
