Yokota Warriors ground Misawa Jets, 44-12
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Yokota Warriors' defensive linemen battle against a solid Misawa Jets' offensive line during the first quarter of Yokota's 44-12 defeat of the Jets July 18 in the first round of the U.S. Forces Japan-American Football League playoffs at Bonk Field. Yokota struggled to get pressure on Jets' quarterback Daron Frierson, who went 31-47 for 315 yards and two touchdowns in a losing effort. The Warriors scored three defensive touchdowns in the first half to put the game out of reach early.
