Yokota hosts Memorial Day services
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Colonel Frank Eppich, 374th Airlift Wing vice commander, addresses the crowd May 25 during the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9555 Memorial Day ceremony near Nina Circle. Gen. John A. Logan, commander of the Grand Army of the Republic, officially proclaimed Memorial Day on May 5, 1868.
