Base presents annual awards

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan --  The 374th Airlift Wing and tenant units assigned here presented awards to their outstanding performers during an annual awards ceremony Feb. 21 at the enlisted club.

Twelve people received awards during the ceremony.

The 374th Airlift Wing Airman of the Year is Senior Airman Caleb J. Hefti. Airman Hefti is assigned to the 36th Airlift Squadron. The 374th AW NCO of the Year is Tech. Sgt. Daniel L. Eastwood of the 374th Logistics Readiness Squadron. 

For the tenant organizations, the Airman of the Year winner is Senior Airman David L. Clark. Airman Clark is assigned to the American Forces Network-Tokyo. The NCO of the Year is Tech. Sgt. Desmond R. Johnson of the 730th Air Mobility Squadron.

The 374th AW Senior NCO of the Year is Senior Master Sgt. Joshua M. Mills, who is assigned to the 374th Medical Support Squadron. The 374th AW Company Grade Officer of the year is Captain Jeffry C. Beard. Captain Beard is assigned to the 374th Maintenance Squadron. 

For the tenant organizations, Senior Master Sgt. Derrick Mobley, 730th AMS, won the Senior NCO of the Year award and Capt.  Joseph L. Maguadog, assigned to Defense Special Representatives Japan, won the CGO of the Year award.

Yokota's Category I Civilian of the Year is Ms. Noriko Kosukegawa, who is assigned to the 374th Medical Support Squadron. The Category II Civilian of the Year is Mr. Joshua R. Dunn. Mr. Dunn is with the 374th Force Support Squadron. 

The 374th AW First Sergeant of the Year is Master Sgt. Joseph M. Huberty, who is assigned to the 374th Medical Group. 

The Honor Guardsmen of the Year award went to Staff Sgt. Melissa Keith of the 374th Communications Squadron.
