Some water parks and swimming pools in the Kanto Plain area have a policy that prohibits people with tattoos from entering the facility.

The policy applies to everyone regardless of age, nationality, sex, or the size or purpose of the tattoo.

The following parks have a no-tattoo policy:

- Fujikyu Highland
- Seibuen
- Tama Tech
- Toshimaen
- Tobu Zoo Park
- Tokyo Summer Land
- Yomiuri Land

Tattoo stickers and paintings are also prohibited. If anyone at these places are found to have tattoos or similar forms of body art he or she will be asked to leave.
