The commander of Air Mobility Commander visited the men and women of the 730th Air Mobility Squadron here from Feb. 9 through Feb. 12.
Gen. Arthur J. Lichte visited the 730th AMS as part of his 10 day tour of the bases in Pacific. It was his first visit to the region since he took command of Air Mobility Command on Sept. 7.
General Lichte said the main reason for his visit was to get out in the Pacific region and see how Air Mobility Command men and women are supporting the mission throughout the world.
During his visit, General Lichte also conveyed one of his goals as AMC Commander.
"The goal for 2008 is to continue to provide the same great service for all our consumers," he said.
