USFJ/5AF change of responsibility ceremony

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan --  United States Forces Japan and 5th Air Force members bid farewell to Command Chief Master Sgt. James Laurent and welcomed its newest command chief master sergeant during the change of responsibility ceremony at Yokota Air Base, Japan, March 10, 2016.

The new USFJ and 5 AF command chief is Chief Master Sgt. Terrence Greene, who most recently served as the command chief master sergeant, 51st Fighter Wing, Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea.  Greene is the enlisted advisor to the wing commander and is responsible for ensuring the wing is ready to defend there.

The change of responsibility is a traditional military event, which is the change of position of responsibility between the outgoing and incoming command chief master sergeant for USFJ and 5 AF.
