Chief Master Sergeant COLBY C. BRUSCH CMSgt Colby C. Brusch serves as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 374th Maintenance Group at Yokota Air Base, Japan, advising the commander on matters involving 627 personnel. He also oversees training, resource allocation, morale, and career development. The374th Maintenance Group maintains 14 C-130J, 3 C-12J, and 4 UH-1N aircraft for various missions, including intra-theater airlift, deployments, training, contingencies, POW/MIA repatriation, bilateral engagements, and humanitarian support across the INDOPACOM theater. They also support ACC RQ-4 operations and conduct isochronal inspections for AFSOC CV-22 and MC-130J aircraft.Chief Brusch entered the Air Force in December 1997 and completed C-130 Crew Chief technical training in June 1998. His background includes duties within the maintenance realm including Quality Assurance, Flightline Expediter, and Production Superintendent. While most of his time has been spent on the C-130, he has also worked C-5s, C-141s, C-17s, F-15s, and Mi-17s. He has served in various assignments CONUS and overseas as well as deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Flying Crew Chief and Operation Enduring Freedom as an Air Advisor.
