374 CES tackles energy
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- From left to right, Hisashi Hashimoto, 374th Civil Engineer Squadron utilities data specialist; Christopher Cook, 374th CES energy manager; Miyano Masashi, 374th CES mechanical engineer technician; David Lochtefeld, 374th CES resource efficiency manager; and Andrew Wright, 374th CES chief of asset optimization, make up the 374th CES energy management team that recently won the 2012 Federal Energy and Water Management Award. The team recieved the award after implementing several energy saving programs on base, reducing Yokota’s wasted energy by 4.7 percent from the previous year and 17.6 percent since 2003.
