INAGI CITY, Japan -- The Yokota Striders Running Club sponsored the 27th annual Ekiden race at the Tama Hills Recreation Area June 5, 2011. This is the first time the race was hosted at Tama Hills. More than 4,000 runners participated in the 2K kid's run, the 5K, and the 4x4 kilometer Ekiden relay main event. Hirohiko Kumazawa and his team received second place in the 4x4 kilometer Ekiden relay event, finishing with a time of 56:01. (U.S. Air Force photo/Osakabe Yasuo)
