Preparing for the rodeo

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Air transportation craftsmen from the 36th Airlift Squadron work together to load a cargo pallet onto a C-130 plane here at Yokota May 17 during a practice run for the upcoming Air Mobility Command Rodeo. Joint base Lewis-McCord, Washington hosts the competition every two years to generate 'esprit de corps' and promote professionalism among and provide recognition for aircrews, maintenance, aerial port and security forces personnel.
