Combat Endurance Challenge
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Tech. Sgt. Meredith Mercedes, from the 374th Maintenance Group, helps Tech. Sgt. Justin Boyle, Det 15, 373rd Training Squadron member, put on his 70 pound rucksack. Sergeant Boyle and the rest of his team carried the rucksacks as a part of the second annual 9/11 Memorial Combat Endurance Challenge, here September 11. The competition was comprised of a three-mile course that included an ammo-can carry, Humvee push, injured-airman carry, low crawl and a rucksack run. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
