Warriors earn championship berth with 18-12 win
YOKOSUKA, Japan -- The Yokota Warriors' celebrate with their fans following Yokota's 18-12 defeat of the Yokosuka Seahawks Aug. 1 in a semi-final game of the U.S. Forces Japan-American Football League playoffs. Yokota earned its third Torii Bowl, or championship, berth since the USFJ-AFL began in 2000. The Warriors lost at Yokosuka 15-12 in 2000 and 30-21 at Misawa in 2005. Yokota travels to Kadena Air Base Aug. 28 to take on Camp Foster in the championship game. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Matt Summers)
