374 CES Airmen enhance readiness with RADR training Feb. 9, 2025

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan

U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 374th Civil Engineer Squadron participated in Rapid Airfield Damage Recovery training at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Feb. 6, 2025.

RADR is a multi-staged process that quickly and effectively repairs airfields, allowing for operations to continue in combat situations.

The 374th CES conducts quarterly training to help ensure Airmen will have the tools and knowledge they need to restore an airfield to a fully functional state in the event of an attack.

Exercises like these are designed to enhance readiness for members of the 374th CES, testing Airmen their ability to stay prepared and respond swiftly to any operational challenge.
