YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Members of Yokota's 374th Civil Engineer Squadron test the installation's flightline arresting gear with the assistance of two F-16 Fighting Falcons from Misawa Air Base, Japan, July 10, 2013. The arresting gear assists with rapid deceleration of aircraft during landings and requires annual testing to certify the equipment.
