As early as August 23, inbound Yokota Airman will be getting sponsored in a more environmentally friendly way.

Throughout the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) a new way of sponsoring Airman is beginning to be implemented. The new eSponsorship Application and Training (eSAT) online program is just one of the many examples of how the Air Force is opening its doors to more eco-friendly ways to welcome new Airmen. The program is located at http://apps.mhf.dod.mil/esat.

The sponsorship program is part of the Air Force Individualized Newcomer Treatment and Orientation (INTRO) program designed to facilitate permanent change of station (PCS) moves by welcoming and assisting newly arrived Airmen and their families.

The biggest difference between the new and old sponsorship programs, is that incoming Airman and spouses will no longer receive a bulky package crammed full of paper, everything that they used to receive in the package is now available online.

Sponsor training is currently being provided throughout PACAF at https://sponsorshiptraining.hickam.af.mil/traininglistdisp.cfm. Training includes: Sponsorship Guidance, Pre-Arrival Sponsorship and much more.

All Airmen are required to complete training prior to becoming sponsors.

Inbound Airmen can access all of the information that they use to receive in their packages on their own at Yokota.af.mil.
