The 374th Airlift Wing Base Honor Guard's mission is to provide unparalleled professional military honors for all official military and civil ceremonies as requested by the community, and required by the wing, higher headquarters, and Congress. This elite team of Airmen sets the pristine example and standards of excellence for the base, military, and is a profound ambassador of the United States Air Force on and off-base, and the local Japanese community.

The Yokota Air Base Honor Guard is always looking for highly motivated, outstanding Airmen to step up to the challenge of becoming a Ceremonial Guardsman and a .1% of the 1% force. Training sessions are held quarterly to mold and shape new members into Ceremonial Guardsman and continue the legacy of everlasting traditions and honor.
