Childcare subletting now available Published Feb. 28, 2023 Kinderspot, the Child Development Center subletting App, is now 100% live and ready to use for Yokota! Subletting is the practice of renting spaces in the CDC. Parents who have full-time care slots don't use 100% of the care they pay for; they take leave, go on vacation, or keep their kids home when the grandparents come to town, etc. Subletting allows that parent to save some money on unused care while opening up part-time care opportunities for families in need of it. Parents with a full-time slot can advertise vacancies on the Kinderspot app and those seeking care options can look for opportunities to take advantage of those vacancies all in the same place. It does cost money for the family who takes on the vacant slot, but you pay based on your income level. The parents who own the slot get a full refund for the time some else takes over. Contact the Yume CDC for any questions and to learn how to register for Kinderspot. Also, be sure to download the Kinderspot app on your mobile device to use the program.
