ANNOUNCEMENTS

Delayed Reporting, Feb 7.

  • Published

Team Yokota,

Due to the recent inclement weather and the expected overnight freezing and icing conditions through tomorrow morning, the Wing will authorize late reporting for non-essential personnel beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Feb. 7. For non-essential personnel, do not report to your work centers until after this time. The CDC will open again at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow morning to allow members to be available at 10:00 a.m. Yokota schools are once again scheduled for a late start tomorrow, Feb. 7, with information to be sent out to parents via email.

Commanders and leaders across the Wing are encouraged to assess the risk for their members and work with their personnel to ensure appropriate reporting times. With icing conditions forecast for tonight and early tomorrow, residents across the installation should work to clear walkways and unpaved roads in accordance with housing regulations and in support of everyone’s safety. The U-fix-it store is extending its hours and will be open until 7 p.m. today to assist with personnel obtaining shovels, salt, and other helpful tools.

There continues to be no anticipated gate or road closures due to the inclement weather. Scheduled base shuttle hours will remain unchanged until further notice. Additionally, the 374th Medical Group will maintain currently scheduled appointments both today and tomorrow, Feb. 7.

Please continue to monitor official channels, including the Yokota Air Base Facebook page and official website for further information. Additionally, we ask all of Team Yokota to continue to be safe and mindful of others as they travel.
