Days of Remembrance Events
Yokota Air Base is hosting a series of events dedicated to Days of Remembrance 5-12 May.
- April 10 to May 12 at the base library there are 19 books related to observance topics on display. They will be available for check-out.
- May 5 to 12 at the base exchange there will be a static display located in the food court.
- May 6 from 1-2 p.m. at the main base chapel there will be a candles ceremony in honor of the victims and liberators of the Holocaust.
- May 9 from 12:10 p.m. to 3:50 p.m. at the Taiyo Community Center there will be a movie screening of Schindler's List
- May 10 from 4:15 p.m. to 5:46 p.m. at the Personnel Development Center auditorium there will be a movie screening of Boy in the Striped Pajamas.
