Catching aircrafts, saving lives
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan – An F-16 Fighting Falcon performs a high-speed taxi and hooks onto the arresting cable at Yokota Air Base, Japan, July 10, 2013. The arresting gear is used to rapidly decelerate an aircraft during in-flight emergency landing, saving the life of pilot and the aircraft.
