First sergeants host annual seminar

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Attendees listen intently during a discussion at Yokota First Sergeant Council’s Diamond Mentoring Seminar July 9, 2013, at Yokota Air Base, Japan. Forty-five Airmen, one Marine and one Soldier attended the seminar to learn about the duties of a first sergeant. “This seminar gives attendees a general starting point to know where to go and how to start many processes we as first sergeants deal with on a daily basis,” said Master Sgt. Jason Stacy, 374th Civil Engineer Squadron first sergeant. “We don’t expect them to know everything, but this gives them a general knowledge to use later in their careers or while assisting as an additional duty first sergeant.” (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Desiree Economides)
