Yokota hosts 34th annual Special Olympics
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Yokota's Honor Guard posts the colors in the opening ceremony of the Kanto Plain Special Olympics 2013. Yokota has hosted the Special Olympics for 30 years; more than 1500 people assembled at Yokota High School's Bonk Field to support and participate. The event started out with only three participants in 1980, and has grown to 150 participants and countess volunteers and supporters. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Alexander Archer)
