2013 Yokota cherry blossom peak watch
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Cherry blossoms reached full bloom March 28, 2013, at Yokota Air Base, Japan, 12 days earlier than last year. According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, it is the second earliest since the agency began taking statistics on cherry blooms in 1953, following 2002, when cherry blossoms reached their peak on March 21.
