374 DS welcomes new commander
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Col. Daniel Savett, 374th Dental Squadron commander, salutes members of his squadron for the first time during the 374 DS change of command ceremony July 27, 2012, at Yokota Air Base, Japan. The tradition of the military salute can be traced back to medieval knights raising their visors when passing their superiors. This age-old gesture is a universal symbol of mutual respect.
