Japan Welfare Association thanks 374th AW
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Members of the Japan Welfare Association present a framed signature board to Col. Otto Feather (right), 374th Airlift Wing commander, and Col. Bill Knight (left), 374th AW vice commander, at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Sept. 30, 2011, in appreciation for the wing's efforts during Operation Tomodachi. Japanese guests at the 2011 Friendship Festival signed every available space of several sheets of paper, which were then folded into the frame. Each individual sheet was photographed and placed into an album so each "thank-you" could be read. This board is one of many tokens of appreciation the wing has received during what has come to be known as "Operation Arigato." (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Samuel Morse)
